Jessica Thompson, is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist. Jessica received her Master’s degree from Wheaton College and her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Saint Francis in Joliet. She works with couples and individuals that are experiencing issues with connection, intimacy and sex, anxiety, mood, traumatic experiences, and coping or adjusting to life stress.
Jessica utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches to inspire positive change in clients’ lives. In addition to her licensure in Marriage Therapy and Sex Therapy, she is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and works with couples in a premarital life stage. At Pangea, Jessica utilizes evidenced based best practices in somatic therapy for her individual, couples, and group sessions and outings.
Jessica is passionate about healthy change and creating a safe space for clients to experience acceptance and being understood. She believes life is a delicate balance and utilizes approaches that support sustainable internal systemic change. Jessica enjoys being excited about life and experiencing something new as often as possible.
